LCA Education Miniconf
The linux.conf.au Education Miniconference will be held as part of the official Linux.conf.au conference. Linux.conf.au is Australia's national Linux conference, and will attract developers and users of free and open source software from around the globe.
The LCA 2007 Education Miniconf will be held in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on the 15th and 16th of January 2007 at the University of New South Wales.
Building on last year's successful Open Source and Education mini conference in Dunedin New Zealand, this year's conference will explore new areas of both content and presentation. One of the biggest topics of discussion at the previous Education Mini Conf was how to get more educators to attend this mini conference. With Sydney being the venue for the larger conference, 2007 will be a great year to try to see if we can draw a significant number of educators through a combination of enthusiastic outreach together with highly relevant and accessible topics.
You are also welcome to check out the programmes from previous years: 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003.

To attend the Education Miniconf you must register to attend the main LCA conference. During the first 2 days of the conference several Miniconfs will be held. During these two days you can attend sessions at both the Education and other Miniconferences.
